For all foreigners who wish to travel to Korea short or long term, please read the below information regarding COVID regulations.
No Pre-entry PCR Test

From midnight on September 3rd, all domestic and foreigners arriving in Korea are no longer need to submit pre-entry tests (PCR or RAT) and negative certificates for all incoming travelers, based on arrival (entry) time in Korea.
However, PCR test within 1 day after entry (Accepted until the next day of entry date) regardless of vaccination or age, is mandatory and must upload the results into the Q-Code System. A RAT test within 6-7 days is also recommended.
Therefore, the Free PCR Test at Venue will be provided without any changes.
* Until 23:59 pm on September 2nd, all incoming Koreans and foreigners should submit a negative result from PCR test taken within the 48 hours prior to entry, or a RAT taken in the preceding 24 hours. Passengers who fail to show a negative test result (including those who hold a non-conforming certificate) is not allowed to enter Korea, regardless of vaccination status.
[Mandatory] For entry: K-ETA or Valid Visa

From April 2022 , nationals of visa waiver countries or designated visa-free countries must obtain ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) before entering The Republic of Korea. Please visit this link for more information.
For entry to Korea, all foreigners must have a K-ETA or a valid visa to enter Korea. The K-ETA process will take up to 72 hours and the result will be sent to your email address directly. Please have the printed hard copy ready.
Irish nationals are eligible to enter and stay in Korea for up to 90 days with a K-ETA for tourist purpose.
※You do not need a K-ETA if you have a valid visa to enter Korea.

[Recommended] Q-code system for After-entry PCR test.
- From 8th June, there will no longer be a quarantine requirements for people entering Korea. This include people who are not vaccinated.

Using the Q-code system is recommended for all people entering Korea to upload their PCR test negative certificate, passport information and answering health condition questionnaire. You will no longer be required to upload your vaccination certificates.From 14th July, users can register their After-entry PCR test (within 1 day of entry) results on the Q-Code website.
